September 2025
We have had a great start to the new school year. Take a look....
In English, we have been trying so hard to join our handwriting. The whole class are doing brilliantly but here are a few amazing examples!
In Geography, we have been learning about Earthquakes. We have studied the structure of the earth, what causes an earthquake and where they often happen. We have also investigated why some earthquakes cause more destruction than others.
On Friday 26th September 2025, we celebrated European Languages Day. Some of our children speak different languages at home so they taught us to say some words! We learnt Polish, Gujarati, Russian and Greek! 
In Art, we have been learning about tone, texture and proportion. We made these amazing collages out of packaging, thinking about the use of colour and space to create a balanced composition.
In Maths, we have been exploring different strategies for addition and subtraction. We used place value counters to show the column method for subtraction. This helped us to understand what happens when we exchange.
October 2025
On Friday 10th October, we went outside as part of our work on Black History Month. We completed an orienteering quiz, looking around school for the answers to questions about Mary Seacole. We had great fun and developed our map reading skills at the same time!
